Coffee ball production

Our coffee balls are made in Switzerland.


The coffee is freshly roasted and ground in nearby the Rhine. The ground coffee is first pressed into a ball and then wrapped in a natural protective coating. This protective coating preserves the coffee's aroma, even after the package is opened, and gives the coffee ball its stability.

The variety is marked on the coffee balls with a laser without the use of any printing ink whatsoever. The ball is 100% compostable in home gardens and breaks down within weeks in damp conditions.

Coffee ball storage

Coffee balls can be stored for up to three months after opening.


Environmentally friendly and recyclable cardboard packaging with a thin protective film protects the coffee ball against the impact of air and moisture. Our coffee balls are also packaged in a protected environment to guarantee 100% enjoyment all the way until the use-by date.

In all other respects, they should be treated like freshly ground coffee: After opening, coffee balls should be kept dry and stored at room temperature or in the fridge. This ensures that they can be used for up to three months after opening.

Closing the circle

We close the circle where it began: in the ground. In between, we do our best to make careful use of our planet's resources.
