CoffeeB supports the ZeroWaste Switzerland school programme
Zero waste is a philosophy of many small steps that everyone can apply. With a non-capsule and low-waste coffee system, we aim to empower people to make an active contribution to a better world with CoffeeB.
But even beyond coffee, we are working towards a low-waste society because avoiding waste is one of the core aims of our brands and products. To accomplish this task, we are raising awareness of zero waste and waste avoidance to encourage as many people as possible to take this path with us. In a first step, we are supporting Swiss projects by the ZeroWaste Switzerland association. More projects are planned to follow in other European countries.
Specifically, this means that our financial support in 2022 will be used to review ZeroWaste Switzerland's training kits. From 2023, we plan to support the "Zero Waste at School" project, which teaches children and adolescents in a fun way how to reduce waste in their everyday life. Children and adolescents learn quickly and are able to contemplate their own behaviour and reflect on its consequences. This knowledge often has a positive effect at home, too. CoffeeB therefore aims to raise awareness for zero waste and waste avoidance specifically among children and adolescents: Link to the programme.
